Spring is right around the corner and I can see the buds on the trees which gives us peace that all is well

and we are where we are supposed to be!

Valentine's Day

A simple valentine's day card!

Butterfly

I love butterflies and I tried creating this butterfly sitting the on the flower.
For the pot I cut out a square and pasted the quilling strips to create basket like impression.

How I started?

I have always wanted to create hand made greeting cards. I've tried drawing them, painting them etc and never felt quite satisfied.One day when I was cruising thru the aisles of hobby lobby I saw these colorful quilling papers at and a book by
Claire Sun-ok Choi and I fell in love with this craft and it turned out to be the perfect medium for me to use my creativity.
I learnt this by myself, of course made plenty of mistakes and learnt something new each time. I never given myself permission to make mistakes and hence have not tried many things but with quilling I was and am not afraid of being imperfect!
So wanted to share my journey with all of you.
